Instructions for Authors

  1. General statement

Materials sent for publication should include the results of personal research, be original, which have not been published before (all materials are checked for plagiarism) and are not being considered by other journals. They must also have a scientific novelty and / or practical significance. The volume of the article including all its elements should be between 6 and 10 pages.

  1. Page setup

Sheet format: A4 portrait orientation.

Margins: top – 2.5 cm, bottom – 2.5 cm, inside – 2.5 cm, outside – 2.5 cm.

The page is divided into two columns 7.5 cm wide each, the distance between the columns is 1 cm.

Font – Times New Roman, size 11.

Line spacing – single, before and after the paragraph – 0 pt, paragraph – 1.0 cm.

  1. Language of the article

The language of the article, in accordance with the Certificate of the journal registration, may be Ukrainian, Russian, English, German, French, Polish, Czech.

  1. Structure of the article

UDC index (top left, 9 size)

Authors’ initials and surnames (right alignment, 12 pt, bold type font)

The title of the article (centre alignment, 11 pt, upper case, 12 pt, bold type font)

Abstract (alignment in width, new paragraph, 9 pt, bold type font, italic).

Keywords (alignment in width, new paragraph, 9 pt, bold type font, italic).

Main part of the article (alignment in width, new paragraph, 11 pt, 2 columns) should contain the main elements:

  1. Introduction
  2. Analysis of recent research and publications
  3. Purpose of the article
  4. Research methods
  5. Main findings presentation
  6. Discussion
  7. Conclusion
  8. References

Information about the authors (alignment in width, new paragraph, 10 pt).

Information about the authors is given in three languages (Ukrainian, English and Russian).

It should include: names of the authors, their academic rank, degree and position; the title of the institution or organization where the author works; the address of the institution or organization where the author works, contact e-mail address.

The title of the article, annotations, keywords, author information (alignment in width, new paragraph, 10 pt).

The title of the article, abstract, keywords, author information is provided in Ukrainian, English and Russian. If the article is written in one of these three languages, the title of the article, abstract, keywords, authorship information is provided in the other two languages.

Abstract should be at least 200-300 words.

The content of the abstract should be structured and contain the following elements: purpose; methods; results; scientific novelty; practical significance.

Keywords are placed in a separate line immediately after the abstract and should contain between 5 and 8 words.

  1. Formulas, tables and other graphic elements.

The formulas presented in the article should be created in the Microsoft Equation 3.0 editor (use of other formula editors is not allowed).

The formula is separated from the text by double line spacing.

Electronic artwork used in the article (figures, diagrams, and other elements) should be created in one of the following formats: “.jpeg”, “.png”, “.bmp” or individual files, or already placed in the article itself (the flow of such elements is “in text “).

Inserting text is separated by one line spacing. Graphic elements created directly in the MS Office or other editors should be converted into one of the previously mentioned formats.

It is not allowed to apply MS Office elements to a raster image placed in the text of the article – such images must be converted into one of the listed formats.

  1. References.

References to manuals, guidelines, and publications that do not have an ISSN number are not allowed.

Self-citation should not exceed 20% of the total number of links.

The references published earlier than 10 years prior to submission of the material to publication should be less than 30% of the total.

The share of references in foreign languages should not be less than 50%, of which publications in science-based databases Scorpus and WoS should not be less than 40%.

References in the original publication language are given under the heading “References”, and should follow DSTU 8302: 2015 style.

Also references should be translated into English and have the following structure:

Authors (transliteration*), year of publication, translation of the title into English, nave articles in translated version in square brackets, source name (transliteration*), source data with the English mark, the language of the original article.

Example:

* Transliteration from the Ukrainian language is executed in accordance with the requirements of the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No55 dated January 27, 2010 “On the ordering of the transliteration of the Ukrainian alphabet in Latin”, from the Russian language the transliteration is executed in accordance with the requirements of the system BGN/HCGN.
